how do I pipe a 80 gallon superstore to a Burnham steam boiler? the "boiler in" on the superstore is higher than the tapping on the back of the boiler.

not a problem....
pipe it as per the diagram in the condensate htg. part of the htg. Q & A...Don't use any vents! the water will stay in the piping w/o a problem....kpc

You might
want to look into a flat plate HX, condensate can plug up and degrade a copper coil.

other options to add....
would be a Y strainer (should always use on steam set ups)or if the copper issue is of concern you could use a 80 gal. Superstor Contender. The hx on the SSU is Cuperonickel it holds up better than straight copper.....kpc

I had overheard you talking with Chuck this morning, and it sounds as if you now have the situation under control.
Just an FYI for the future- you can use live steam through the coil of the SSU 80 and 119. In doing so you would just need to be aware of isolating the heat side of the system.

make sure
that when hooking up a zone to the bottom of a steam boiler (using the condensate as outline in the B&G q&a) you MUST USE A THREE PIECE CIRCULATOR (ie series 100) Don not use a water lubricated model (read 007 or little red)
