for it to be over! I live near the Spauling Turnpike and all I hear all all hours of the day are those abnoxiously loud Harleys up and down the road..... it wasn't that bad last year due to the rain.....kpc

Once you ride you get to love the sound's and feel...I live 10 miles from Laconia and have no problem with any of it. But then again I ride so...:) And in answer to the other question that is Laconia NH..

or should I say WAS sleeping. There is no need to remove the exhaust baffles just to be so loud....kpc

but those bikers bring and left something like 50 million into the state in one week I heard! I guess you could threw them out and have a sales tax like the Bay state has. As far as pipes I agree but then again people in cars and the moose can hear you coming. This from a non rider. John@Reliable

Loud pipes save lives!

at least that is the battle cry of the Harley riders around here! My brother in laws V Twin shop sell t- shirts that have that printed on them.

Although I have noticed a lot of those older Harley boys are getting hard of hearing.

Guess that's a fair trade off for all the lives saved over a weekend event like that

Between the noise and the smell of those rich running in efficient engines, I'll only ride with them if I can lead

Of course being in front is not a problem when you ride a Triumph

The back of the pack is best for the sag wagon and bike trailers needed on an average Harley ride.

Just kidding!
