Glycol

Thanks for all the threads. I find them very helpful. I have installed my first Munchkin boiler. So far the unit seems to be operating properly. The question I have is about glycol. In a closed loop radiant floor heating system is it required to maintain a certain amount of glycol. Do I have to put glycol in the system at all and if I do not what are the ramifications. Thanks for your input.

The only reason to use glycol is
if you have areas of the system that could be subject to freezing. Do you? Mad Dog
