Was a sore spot I had with last computer, then lost them all. only "outlook" has the capacity to do that!! (OF the two) but you can put more together when you re-mail if you put them on as attachments.

I'm looking for a little help with Outlook Express

Sorry to interupt the wall with a computer question, but I'm looking for the easiest way to transfer my Outlook Express e-mails from my pc to my new laptop, wihout resending them one at a time.

    Thanks in advance, Glenn.

    Take a look at Detto

They make a product that allows you to move all your files (documents, including the OE data) from one pc to the next using either USB (barely tolerable) or serial (which takes forever) cables.

For $45, Intellimover should do the trick for you. There may be cheaper solutions, I simply do not know of them... Cheers!

    I just did this

with netscape mail but i don't know if outlook is the same. You have to find the file on the computer where the emails are stored. you can then save the file on a disc and install on the new computer. before you install them on the new computer, set up your mailbox account on the new computer and then you will have to replace the new inbox the computer created with the inbox (with all your emails) on the disc.

    Import/Export

Go to file, select EXPORT. Export address book or messages to a file. Call them messout and addout. Save each file oo a disk.

On the new computer, go to file, select IMPORT. Import the messages file (messout) and address file (addout) from the disk.

    Follow instructions.

    That does'nt seem to work

I've got OE 6 and when you click on export you can only export to Outlook or Microsoft Exchange. Thanks for the idea anyways.

    Thanks to all...

I was able to do it using a combination of RBT's link and Matt's Netscape instructions. It's not real easy, but I got it done.

    Thanks agian guys. Greatly appreciated.
