Buderus 2109 question?

What if I have to run the boiler for heat and do not have an indirect tank installed yet. Do I move a dip switch or disconnect the tank sensor plug?
On a call for heat the boiler ran up to high limit but the heating circ would not go. I do not have the indirect yet and did not wire the indirect circ.[the heating pump will run if I disconnect it from 2109 control and power it from L1 so it is not the pump]
It is a long story but... it is a health care facility and they need heat even though it is June 2. I replaced the fwa furnace with a boiler and air handler today. I stayed, with my helper, until 7:30 to try and finish. Left w/o the heat on.
First buderus I ever did with an AFG. P.S. you need to jump TT on the beckett primary control. When you are tired you sometimes miss the basics.

Try this Bill!
The attachment is for altering the resistance on your Amtrol thermistor to talk to your 2109.You will need to power your smart control,The violets will go to #1(tank sensor). The diagram posted is for a Honeywell R822D......you won't need this relay since the "Smart Control"is a switching relay. If you cannot find a 2K and 8K resistor a 2.2 & a 10K will suffice!Good luck.......it's alot easier to use a Buderus indirect:)Guess you know that.I found out along time ago.

On the Buderus R2109 Control, if not using the DHW circuit, a jumper must be installed on terminal TS #1 and #2 (Page 9, bottom of page in the Installation and Operating Manual), and the dial for DHW should be turned all the way down.
I believe the "Smart Control" on the Amtrol tank uses a 10k ohm resistor which is what the R2109 and R2107 use. Disconnect the sensor wires from the "Smart Control" and extend them to connect into the TS #1 & #2 terminal in the R2109. When using the R2107 control, connect to terminal FB #1 and #2. The circulator for the indirect tank should be wired into terminals #24 and #25 in either control.0
