Does anyone have literature to tell me the characteristics of a Honeywell L408B1131 vaporstat? I found one listed cheap as new surplus, but no info is given in the listing.
Thanks,
Tom

The L408B
is a "reverse acting" Vaporstat, that is, it makes contact when the pressure rises instead of breaking contact. So you couldn't use it as a high-limit on a Vapor system.
However, it might be useful for some Heat-Timer or similar control units, or for some high-low-fire burners, or to sound an alarm if the pressure gets too high.
