I received a copy of George Lanthiers, Oil Burner Primary Controls. It was published in 2004 and is 146 pages in length.
The book covers all primary controls from stack switches to Honeywells7184 rev4 primary. It also covers to some extent interfacing with fan centers. It is comprised primarily of manufacturers literature. Additionally, it provides substantial narration to accompany this literature. It is in this narration youll find all the old tricks to make these controls work.
This is a great reference for the working oil burner professional. I was amazed to see documented what you need to know to work on the electrical heart of the oil burner. For a student it is an immensely valuable resource as there are few texts on this subject The old hand should give it a place on your shelf in case you forget something. We have come along way from stack switches and 8184gs!!
Thanks George for the great resource!!
