PLEASE HELP A KID TO READ

with a bunch of wonderful NYC kids who live in a shelter. They're mostly between three- and six-years-old. I team-lead a group of New York Cares volunteers and we take the little ones to the library.

There are other team leaders who work with older kids in middle school. These kids have a book club and the books they read together are donated by good people who have a few bucks to spare. Most of these books cost less than a pack of cigarettes.

If you've been blessed with good fortune, I'd like you to consider buying a book or two for the kids who live in the shelters in New York City. Here's the Amazon link to the:

It's easy to do. Just order a book (or more than one if you'd like) as you normally would. When you get to the shipping part of the form where it asks for a shipping address, don't use your own.
