Flooring Mfgr with \"blinders\"?

Just had a new kitchen floor installed. Tarkett sheet vinyl. The installation guide talks about requirements when used with radiant heat, but it's in the "over concrete" section. No mention of radiant in the wood underlayment section.
I guess they haven't heard about the latest radiant installation methods :-)
They call for 85degF max floor temp (no surprise) but also say that tubing must be at least 2 inches away from the flooring material. Never heard that one before.
