Fin Tube

I'm looking for a few ideas on the best fin tube to install in a complete re-do, boiler, baseboard. Used to be hot-air heated. I'm thinking of going with an EK system. It's a 2 story house, 500 sq ft per floor. I'm not looking to get too crazy pricewize, unless the difference is truly worth the extra bucks. It's an attached house, so I figure to run fin tube under the windows, each room has two windows, and just leave the joining wall alone. Any thoughts will be gratefully appreciated.

Jimbo, do a heat loss calculation before you do anything else! A FREE heat loss calculator is available from Slant/Fin. See "Free Heat Loss Calcs" on this site (see list on left of your screen). No matter whose baseboard you buy, you'll know it's sized properly.0 -
Jimbo,
I agree. The heat load calc. is step one.

Slant/Fin Heatloss CD
Matt, Slant/Fin is about ready to roll out Version 2 of Hydronic Explorer. The Corporate Office MAY have given out all of their Version 1 disks. I have a few left ... I'll be glad to send you one if you email me your address. When you get the disk, register it at http://trainingroom.slantfin.com and you'll get Version 2 as soon as it's ready.0
