Munchkin 80: wall model or regular?

What is the difference between these two units? The HTP web site says nothing about why there are two models with identical capacity. The wall model seems to list for a little less, but it modulates by a factor of 5 rather than 3. Smaller heat exchanger? Must be special-ordered? Anything else? Many thanks,

The T-50 & T-80 wall hung units are a 5:1 turndown as opposed to a 3:1 on the "M" Munchkins. Also the venting is 2" PVC as opposed to 3" PVC. Units weigh in at 58#. Also the wall hung units use a "Dungs" gas valve that does not require a separate orfice for LP gas. Most parts are interchangeable with the "M" Munchkins and we stock parts for both boilers. Wall hungs are also vision compatible. We stock both the T-50 & 80 and sales have been quite good. I can send you info if you like.

Magnetic Bats
When I saw the wall-hung a while back, they had the temporary access panel/cover on it. They said they were going to sell it like that until the real panel was fully developed. This cover made use of magnetic strips and it didn't really make a tight seal, which you need to have if it is to be sealed combustion. As always with these things, you might want to check on their progress to see how far along in the process the new machines have come. They probably already have it finished, as this was quite some time ago when I saw this particular model.
They'll probably have to change the name though, as it is no longer a stubby legged, floor enabled animal if it hangs on the wall. Maybe call it a "Batkin" or "Munchbat?" Heck, I'd have to do some investigating to come up with a neat new name for them! [chuckle] Maybe there is a term for a bat that doesn't fly or has short wings....why am I obssesed with bats!?! Why not a squirrel, or insect or leech? Something that clings to a sidewall.

Munchbat!!!
I love it!
We are hanging our first "bat" unit today.
Took forever to get, but now it's here.
I'll post pics soon.

While I have seen pictures of the T80, today was the first time I saw one up close.
I couldn't believe it!!!
It does have the magnetic cover.
How much smaller can we make these things?!?!?!?!
