Just curious and if there is, how are they handled? How would a potential contractor or home owner find a solid used boiler?

E-Bay
is a place where they show up.
I still wonder why anyone would want to do this since the labor is the same and you buy something somebody didn't want anymore.0 -
Used boilers
Unfortunately you'll find that boilers are rarely replaced unless there is a problem. People who don't bat an eye on upgrading a computer for faster service won't invest in one of the most important aspects of their home. Of course, there are always exceptions to the rules so you may want to check with some local heating contractors and let them know what you're in the market for. They may be able to sway an upgrade sale if the homeowner knows that their old boiler may be worth some cash back to offset costs. Good luck!0 -
Thank you for your replies
I wondered if there were any clearing houses like there are for cars.
