Most folks probably figured that the Pistons didn't belong on the same court with the Lakers. Now the opposite may be true. It shows what grit, hard work and determination can do. I'm not just saying that because my Motown is beating Tinseltown, I'm saying it because this series personifies the hard work that a guy like Ben Wallace performs each day -- and how he'd prefer to deflect the praises to his teammates and coaching staff. Unselfish and big-hearted, the man is a true sports hero in my mind.

    Isn't the Owner of the Pistons...

    ...the same guy who owns the Tampa Bay Lightning? What a Business Year this guy is having. Both of his teams made the finals. Will both of his teams walk away as champions this year? Both were the underdogs.

    You know how they say; When it rains, it pores.....In this case it would be the opposite. Cudos...and go Pistons!

    Yup

    Bill Davidson also owns the WNBA Detroit Shock, the defending champs. The guy is a winner.
