I have a customer that has a munchkin boiler and he would like to turn the system on and off via the phone. I found a unit at this site http://www.smarthome.com/300601.html. Does any one know of this product or a better one that is reliable. thanks for you help.

    The Enviracom Networked Zoning System...

offers the option of a telephone access module that allows the homeowner to control the system from a touch-tone phone, also has alarm callout capability. Check it out at http://hbctechlit.honeywell.com. Type in Y8835A1002, and W8735B1003. The telephone access module can't stand alone, it's part of the system, which works well with either forced air or hydronic zoning. Available from any Honeywell distributor, no retail equivalent.

    HoneyWell Experience

Installed a honeywell PC8900/W8900 last year...this can accept the telephone access module...

I bought mine via http://www.longviewweb.com/index.htm - James Nix - who was knowledgable and helpful.

You can also control some of the Honeywell systems (not the PC8900/W8900) via the web using software from Vicarworks (www.vicarworks.com)

    Vicarworks

I have not had much luck with electronic T-stats. The Honeywell-Vicarworks works great. I had put one in my house before traveling half way around the globe. The system does have some limits though.
