Is big V the only company that makes their wall hung condenser in house? I'm talking about heat exchanger and burner, not fans and gas valves.

Prodigy boiler is...

not a condensing design. Does Heat-Wise (Bola Kamath's company, here in Long Island) make boilers, or just burners?

Viessmann makes an excellent product, but only the 25-91k btu unit has domestic.
Baxi has a boiler that is full-mod, wall hung with or without domestic up to 105k btu. 98 pounds, fully contained, non-condensing direct vent boiler. The company has been in business for over 40 years, and we have several hundred of these units in the field.

DHW on Vitodens

The small plate heat exchanger in the little Vitodens is a nice option but a better choice is to buy the regular Vitodens with the DHW enable kit. Seperate ports on the bottom of the boiler to run to your indirect water heater and the computer/boiler have built inpriority and temp over ride. PLug and play as you will.

This enables you to size the DHW to the house. PIck any indirect whether a Viessmann 316TI V300, a Viessmann enameled steel V100 or any other manufacture of indirect. I've couples the Vitodens with the V300m V100, Weil McLain Plus, Crown Megastore, Super Store and Storex tanks.
