Latest System Burnham V8 w/Alliance

Here's my latest Burnham install. V8 boiler, Alliance water maker, Tekmar 374 2 mix 2 stage &DHW outdoor reset control, Taco ZVC 404 & 403 zone valve controls.

2 injection manifolds @ higher/lower temps. Tried the new Tekmar 510 thermostats and really like them. Didn't get into the house in time to pipe and wire everything behind the wall, oh well.

    Nice work Mark,

I wish I had stuff like that to do. Most of ours are 1 day in/out replacements. One thing I noticed was the draft reg. I find that moving it to just before the chimney opening will cut noise by aleast 15/20% over where it is now. Also will keep any by-products from being blown out and onto boiler jacket. Nice Install!

I hope the homeowners are spreading the word about your good work.
  • Nice job Mark!

Judging from the Manual Reset High Limit you have installed on the supply pipe, I would venture to guess you are in the NYC or LI area where the inspectors have been requiring them. You will be interested to know that the requirements for these devices on residental boilers was thrown out two months ago thanks to GAMA and various manufacturers efforts. The reasons are based on no apparent documented incidents in smaller applications. Not sure if your local insectors will abide by that ruling though! Great job!

Do you you mind if I use these pictures in some of my seminars. Always looking for great installation pictures. Also, we are always looking for installation submittals for next years calander. Let me know if you want to submit them via e-mail.

I was making a cd for you for the calendar several months ago and in the process lost all my digital copies of my older jobs. Anyways, I have a cd coming to you with the higher resolution shots. Feel free to use them however. I'll be in contact with you via private email in the coming days about it. Thanks.
  • Thanks Mark

I'll look forward to hearing from you!
