Hello allLooking to purchase a simple digital aquastat..Basically a L4006a But digital and it needs to have a range from about 70 to 100 Higher temp does not matter. I am getting an inground pool installed and I am going to heat it with a plate heat exchanger off my existing oil boiler. I want to install a nice digital temp control SPST. And some sort of pressure switch for flow.
Any help would be appreciated.

    Try one of these....

...tekmar 510 Thermostat with 071 Universal Sensor OR 150 Setpoint Control.

I would opt for the thermostat due to price and size. It is able to run of a remote sensor, which would be your aquastat replacement. Visit www.tekmarcontrols.com for more info.

    Hope this helps.

    Plenty

of setpoint controls available with wells and sensors. Check out Johnstone Supply, they have a half dozen different brands. Most have a wide temperature range and adjustable differental features, handy for a pool application.

tekmar is great. I like the large display on the Heat Timer brand also. Easy to read from across the room.

A thermistor type control allows you to wire to the sensor with basic t stat wire, generally up to a few hundred feet. Sometimes more convient than the cap tube style aquastats.

    Digital Aquastat

Johnson Controls A419. Reasonably priced and VERY flexible. 0-30* diff., set to cut in or out on rise or fall, sensor w/leads included, fits in a well or mount in duct. I've used them for tank aquastats, slab sensing stats, cycling pumps, duct stats. Very versatile.

Here's the data sheet. You might have to download and zoom to view.
