With all the talk of pumping into the boiler on Munchkins, I am curious why the Vision 1 piping diagrams have the heating pump P1 pumping into the boiler while the DHW pump
P2 pumps away from the boiler and into indirect tank?
Any comments?

i would venture
to guess that you usually need around 10 GPM through the DHWT heat-x and there is very little friction loss as the piping is usually 1" or larger. so the DHW circ is pushing enough flow through the munchie heat-x.

From experience
I would not use the combi cor water heater with the schematic as shown. combi's have a way too high head loss. Plumber has one with a 140 and combi and even using a 0013 pump it will not move enough water to keep the 140 from complaining.0
