I have a Weil McLain 368st oil fired steam boiler with a tankless hot water coil in it, would it be wise to drain the complete boiler. It is used in the winter for heat and hot water, the summer of hot water only. thank you tom

No,
but you could add some water to cover the tankless more for better hot water.Bring it up until sight glass is almost full, then come heating time drain water level down to normal run level. Don't forget to flush the LWCO weekly and do it under steam pressure. Removing all the water and than adding fresh water just adds allot of O2 which causes more problems (rust). Hope this helps John@Reliable0
