New York Cares Book Club for Women

We read to the kids at the Red Cross Emergency Shelter in NYC once a month while the mothers go to the book club meeting that New York Cares runs for them. All of the money raised from Dan's Reading List goes toward buying books for the women, but it's never enough.

Thanks!

All you have to do is buy the books with a credit card, as you normally would. The software will then take you to your address book and the New York Cares office will be listed there. Just direct the shipment toward them and it's done.

13 copies of each book.

We're up to nine on one and 10 on the other. So close to the goal.

Any other Wallies care to help? I'm a huge believer in the power of one person helping another. It's especially powerful when the recipient is a total stranger. It speaks volumes about the giver.
