New Honeywell Thermostat

A new Honeywell Thermostat, the TH8320U 1008.

Hav'nt used it yet, but it looks like nice unit. Its supposed to be the "easiest to use Honeywell thermostat EVER". Being that I have had trouble understanding the past versions of Honeywells setback stats, I am looking forward to this working well.

Anybody out there try this yet ?

I have jumped around alittle in the past with stats trying to find a unit that both we and the HO can program easaly.
I had a Chronotherm in my old house and really I think the Tekmar instructions for simpler.

Thanks to Bill Wolfe or providing this.

Scott

    You're welcome...

We showed this new Vision Pro 8000 to a lot of folks at NAOHSM, and the feedback was very positive. These new stats will be available from any Honeywell distributor in about 2 weeks. Let me know how it works out.

Be sure it does not have batteries. Homwowners don't change smoke detector batteries. You think they will change the thermostat bateries with out a beep signal.

    Sample

I got my hands on a sample of this thermostat. It is really well thought out. I have been playing with it for a couple of days and I am very impressed.
