Hey does anyone know how to get a Thermostat unstuck?
I have a Honeywell chronothermIII that displays the correct time but then next to the time it reads "-AC" example:
(8:00pm -AC)
I cannot get the ac or the heat to fuction (or the fan to kick on) It is 35 degrees here in CO. and starting to get cold. I'd love to kick on the heat to get toasty. Anyone have any answers?

The 'AC' in the display...
means that there is no low voltage power at the thermostat. Perhaps someone turned off a switch by mistake? If there is power to the heating appliance the problem could be internal....call someone for service.

I told you these guys could help. I also think that there is probably no power being supplied to your thermostat since even the fan switch will not activate the blower motor. No heat or cooling will happen if the fan won't come on.
85ºF yesterday and now in the 30ºs tonight in Boulder? Don't you just love these shoulder months! I miss the West:-(
Jason, look for a switch at the top of or near the stairway into the basement. Someone (the landlord) may have turned it off. Other thing to check is the circuit breaker panel for a tripped breaker. Slim chance
You got a multimeter?

Have you changed the filter lately? You may not have gotten the blower door on correctly and not activating the door safety switch.

No power, period!!
disconnect switch, blower cover door, blown fuse, blown 24V transformer, broken wire, you gotta know how to test electrical circuits to track this down.0
