water heater

Has anyone seen a solenoid valve device in the cold water inlet of a water heater that has a water sensor attached to it and can be run down to the pan under the heater? When it detects water it closes the valve so if there is a leak you will not flood the area to terribly. When the sensor is dry it opens the valve again. I have seen the WAGS but those are a one shot deal.
