So, basically, use the unionized drunks? According to some former line worker freinds of mine they're prety commonly under the infuence of various drugsat the Michigan auto plants. I don't see how you could do the exact same thing all day every day sober.

i really dont appreciate the slur about american assembly line workers yes the job is boring as hell but at least they produce a product you can hold in your hands and or touch rather then lines of code that make computers work as for taco products at least they are still american made

Hey I LIKE Taco...!
I am wondering What happened to the products that are supposed to be out here..... when stuff dont happen right or on schedule, around our job sites ,we jokingly blame it on the other guys hiring Renta drunks. more than likely what has happened is, as usual, we are the LAST people in line to receive the products and it is undeniably the coldest fricking place ,IN AMERICA. ....the focus at the moment is where are the Pump Blocks........?0 -
This is not my observation
I have been to a lot of manufacturing plants, touring, working, etc. I have never observed a single drunk person on site, ever. These were union, mixed, and non-union shops.
Toyotas and Hondas domestically produced cars have the same quality as those being sourced from Japan. To the best of my knowledge, their labor is unionized. It is my belief that superior management and design/manufacturing is what set these brands apart from their domestic competition. After all, they share many of the same suppliers.
Thus, I suspect that your observation may include an excessive amount of bravado or is only applicable in one badly-run plant. There is no good reason that a US plant cannot produce products with the same quality, tolerances, finishes, etc. as anywhere else in the world.
As for Taco not supplying Weezbo with his "fix", now that's another problem altogether. Perhaps he ought to lash up the dogsled and journey to the lower 48 to get his parts... ROAD TRIP! ;-)0 -
Yeah....that's pushing it
Sure, some are stoned, but you know what? Once in a while they are smacked out of their drug-induced stupor as their appendages are pulled in the the machinery!!!!!! OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Mad Dog
