Man,
he must be in shape; a very competitive sport and very hard to place in the top ten let alone take 1st place. I'd be proud of him as well.
I'm looking forward to the Tour de France in July.
Attached photo is from earlier this month with a group of friends in Moab, Utah. That's at the top of the Porcupine Rim trail; resting up before the 7 mile ride to the bottom on mountain bikes.

Thats a view well worth the climb. I am just starting to get back into riding again. I spoke to my nephew the other day and told him I rode six miles the other night. He laughed and said he rode 110 ( one day ) . Oh well !
I need to get some guys together and get back on the trails.

Moab
My bride and I took the kids to Moab a few years ago. We camped at Dead Horse State Park and visited the local sites. There was almost too many beautiful places to see! I had never heard of Moab being the cyclist haven it is until we drove through and saw all the cycle shops.

Moab
is multi-use: 4-wheelers, mountain bikers, dirt bikers and hikers come here for the incredible trails.
Here's a view of downtown Moab and the Colorado River from the Portal Trail. Step too close to the edge and you go down 1,100 feet; a few deaths already this year.
