An accident waiting to happen

I saw this truck in a parking lot the other day. I can't believe - especially after the mishap last year right here on Long Island, where the pipes were thrust foward like so many javelins in to another car's windshield during an accident. The plumber died from the accident, the poor person (Javelin-catcher) was impaled. I put a note on the guys windshield - I hope he listens. Mad dog

i had a welder weld a plate in front of my tubes just in case some well intentioned person puts a scrap piece of pipe in one and i hit the brakes and it becomes a torpedo...cant tell that degree of paranoia comes from experiance can you?

watched a van

drive thru town last night and wished I'd had my camara.

Rental van loaded down so much the gas tank was scrapping the ground everytime it hit a bump. I was real glad when he went the other way.

A crime waiting to happen.

That copper tube would not stay on top of that guys van long here in Scotland! Ten minutes and it would be stolen for scrap.
I was parked and under the bonnet(hood) of my van and this guy parked along side of me and said ''If you are having the battery I'm taking the wheels''!!.........they would steal the sugar from your tea!

Allegedly, they made it halfway across the parking lot...

... before the rear suspension tore through the car body (i.e. the struts bored a hole into the car). What you cannot see right away are the 800lbs of cement in the rear seat and trunk. Note the spaced out female in the passenger seat. A quick Google brought up this additional information and extra photos from different angles. It's amazing what people will attempt to transport.

If my Dad even thought you stole something you got a whack and I'm so glad he has great morals. I have raised my kids the same. I don't whack them but they know right from wrong.

I guess we have to trust other people or you get screwed up and bitter (Did you ever see 'AS GOOD AS IT GETS' great movie!). Also you must be ever mindfull of other people.

You took the time to point out to that van driver what can happen and other people's saftey was your concern. WELL DONE.
