with the advent of those new small residential liquid chillers, it’s about time tekmar introduced a complete line of cooling source stagers, vari-mixers, and zone controllers, for people, that want to cool their homes with chilled water, and per-room fan coils, – so that people can enjoy, the “cooling only where you want it ” jut like we’ve had “heating only where you want it” for years

and for the super-dry climate desert people, who have radiant heating in the ceilings – they can simply cool without re-piping, by only attaching the chiller sources into the primary loop - If lived in phoenix, I would install my whole house with radiant in the ceilings – talk about silent A/C – (though at 100f , even 10% relative humidity, is still a lot of water, and you might still need de-humidification from a fan-coil)

the technology is not very different, from what you are already doing, just reversed, so there is more tooling, than engineering involved – be the first on the block with a complete line!!!

With primary/vari-injection/secondary and tekmar staging the cooling sources, you wouldn’t need antifreeze in the system since tekmar controls could protect the primary from freezing, you would only need to isolate and drain the cooling primary for the winter, – though, you would need to treat the water, for bacteria, allege, and ph, – something you should be doing with low temp radiant heat anyway
