On-demmand water heater with radiant slab

I'm a big fan of stained & sealed concrete floors and intend to try to use one in an upcoming project. As such, besides its other qualities, the idea of using a radiant heating system appeals to me. Supplying the radiant slab, I have seen on-demand hot water systems used and heard they achieved a high level of efficiency. However, I can't seem to find too much on the pros & cons of this idea and also how to appropriately determine the system requirements; any comments/ suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    done one..

I have done a similiar setup and found the system to work incredibly well. I used a rinnia continuum with great success. With the control you are able to set your outgoing temp and the size of the system make's it easy to put anywhere...hope this help's...

    Instananeous HW heaters

There have been many threads at this site in the past with lively pro and con opinions. Try a search here and you may turn one up. Flow rate? Buffer tank? Setpoint temp rather than outdoor responsive? All good questions and many good responses.

The small Takagi is not a bad choice. Is there an existing hot water source? What part of the country are you in?
