Youth and hunger beat out experience and, well, age. Nice job Flames, you may have ended a Red Wings' dynasty. If there is no strike next year my boys will likely turn to the youth movement and say good-bye to familiar names, including the coach.

But it's not all bad news, my Pistons are hot -- just ask the Nets.

    Da Wings

    My guesses:
Chelly, Yzerman, Hull, Shanahan, Fischer, and......Lewis, All gone next year. Rumors are already swirling about:

Shanny and Hull reunited in St. Louis (for a twilight of their careers affair)

    Yzerman retiring

Chelly realizing he has to hang up the skates and retire

Fischer and Whitney going anywhere but to the Joe.

Legace should be traded to someone for a couple of young, fast, hungry/gritty kids while he is still hot.

Bring on Hudler, Grigorienko, and Stephan Liv. Kronwall definitely deserves a spot and you can't forget about Robinson. There is still plenty of young talent in the Wings' pool. Put Datsyuk and Zetterberg in weight room over the summer to bulk them up.

    Is it October yet?

    Gotta say it: GO Flames!

    It sounds like Robert Bean....

may have given the "Flames" an inspirational talk, before
the game. These guys just won't quit and have a great
shot at winning the cup. GO "Flames" Go.
