plenty:)
the copper base board requires lots of bends and turns some times swing joints etc sometimes 100 90's and 300 feet of 3/4 piping goes into a system with the baseboard as well zone valves ball valves t's reducing t's flanges what you want to do is limit the fittings and materials and make every thing nice and neat and tidy. the 90's are part of the developed length and are about 2.5 ' how to determine which 90's you are using is tough from this far away, long turn 90's and long turn bends that are "manufactured" on the job have less restriction of flow. i always harp on the younger guys till they bother to re read the upc:))) you do not need to beable to answer every question you just need to know where the information is to be found.until then you will have to put up with guys like me who say Well that is the equivalent of 5 Feet of Pipe! we dont want you to waste fittings and make the job look like a dogs hind leg.0 -
A good reason to
consider using PAP for baseboard piping. Generally you only need 2- 90's at the bb connection.
Swing ells and expansion noise are a thing of the past, as well as high copper costs, soldering and actylene cost and related hassles
