a contractor for home improvement and plumbing and HVAC in the Rochester area. I used the Find a contractor feature and the closest registered heaing contractor was across the pond in Quebec. I guess they would have to take the Ferry if I hired them. Thanks for any replys or leads. WW

Hey Troy

My Auntie Peg lives in Buffalo. Do you have any friends or contacts in Rochester you could recommend that do any kind of contracting. I am buying a house in the city for my daughter to live in while she attends college there. (The college charges so much to live on campus we can buy a 4 bedroom house and rent out 3 rooms and my daughter can stay free for less than the same cost. She won't even have to share a room.) It needs some work. Nothing big but I have no network of contractors up there and can't imagine driving 7 hours to seviece the furnace myself. (Time to buy that company Lear Jet) Thanks if you can help. WW
