Floor Warming Only

Anyone do floor warming only with pex stapled directly to the subfloor and insulated like you would with Onix? Results or Regrets? I don't want to heat the house just the floor (tiled areas). So my temps are low but I would still keep it @ 8" o.c.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Justin

Hey Justin, how's the head this morning?
All the floors I've done use panel trac and I figure on 20btus/sq.ft. Takes a little longer than straight staple up, but the heat spreads a bit more evenly. To get the same output with stapleup would require more tubing I believe. Someone posted an infared picture on this site once and that was enough to convince me. Chris0
