At least for commisioning and ease of piping. The rest of the renovation was difficult in that the GC cut many of the original piping laterals to the ceiling radiant and radiator mains. It was a tuff call to trace out the mysteries. We used a ProPanel 311 for an indirect tank, radiators, original steel pipe radiant ceiling, concealed wall panels and 1000SF of new QuickTraK in the Kitchen and 2nd Fl.

Is that the purpose of the #30's wall strap? Nice boiler(G). Those ProPanels are sweeeeet! We just comished a retro-fit with several of them.

Hi Paul does this panel have a btu rateing , I have seen them on the wirsbo disk . we are using Danfoss panels now , there made here in calgary and have worked great improve our jobs , mabe we'll catch up to you some day , like were in a comopatition eh , you consistantly do such nice work and that is the key , keep up the beutiful work

Next time I'll use the 3 way Belimo mixing valve instead of the injection pump. The panel is available with either option. It costs a little more, but I prefer 3 way to injection. The W/M boiler should have been replaced with a Viessmann, but the owner wanted to use it until it dies.

Since I left Danfoss and joined up with Wolseley Canada, we have continued to promote Pre-Fab Panels. Whether its Wirsbo Pro-Panels or Danfoss ZCP Panels, the Benchmark continues to be set with these two great companies. I'm interested in why you chose to install a panel over site assembled materials?

Hi Dave! This was a project that only a fool would want. The mechanical room was such a mess, the only hope was to panelize the near-boiler piping. There was also limited room to organize the various zoning. It saved at least 2-3 man days of labor.
