    Alaska has 365million acres of land and the epa snivels about everything.....some peoples nearest neighbours are a hundred miles away! so what if the guys car is a 49 straight eight with no co air blower fog pump catalyitc converter he probably only uses the car once a month to head to town in the summer....

    The Heartless would say...

    ..that this yet another Darwin award attempt that failed. Naturally, I'm happy they all lived, that the firefighters figured out what was wrong before they too got sickened, and that the family and its neighbors hopefully learned their lesson re: combustion appliances in enclosed spaces.

    3 weeks without heat? That's rough. Must have been a Munchkin blower failure ;-) (hi Steve!)
