Was wondering if anybody has used a Tekmar 155 setpoint controller to tie an outdoor wood furnace into an existing hydronic system via a heat exchanger? Sure looks like it would work well for this application. Any thoughts? Matt

Is this an on-demand boiler with a circulator?0 -
Sure
that is a good control logic to incorporate. I have used the Goldline brand differintal control for years in the same application.
My wood boiler feeds into a buffer tank, when the tank temperature drops to a predetermined temperature the diff. control fires my MZ.
I'll have to check out the tekmar version. Generally their setpoint controls are a bit more $$ than others. But still a very nice control.
