Good Work Mark!
Now the question is whether the contractor masses will get it through their collective heads that it is possible, profitable, and beneficial to all when they upsell folks on a better heating system - particularly if it is included in the mortgage.
And thanks for posting the link, Dave!0 -
Thanks!!
Hope people can put these article so good use. I write them for YOU

Great
Good stuff, Mark. Doesn't get any better.... How about an article on: "Designing wall panels or baseboard for condensing loads"

That article
Would be very short if I wrote it. Very likely, it would read like this........
"When designing a heating system which will utilize panel radiators or baseboard radiation, the heat emitters should be sized to meet design requirements at a maximum of <150*. The T delta should be a minimum of 20*, with 30* or even 40* being more desirable. Anyone who cannot understand the merits of keeping condensing equipment operating in this temp range is an IDIOT and should not be designing systems anymore." (G)
The End
Howzat for eloquent verbalization and vociferous emoting on the subject as presented.
I'll be waiting by the phone tomorrow for the magazine offers to come pouring in.0 -
Maybe
you can write the heating column for the National Enquirer. I'd be reading it :-)!! Funny, Steve. I thought you'd at least propose the loss of an appendage upon failure to design in condensing mode.

The appendage
I was thinking of can't be mentioned on a family forum but removal of it would prevent another generation of like thinking individuals.0 -
A couple of
color bars and graphs, and you could go for USA Today .
