Closing, 10,MAY, Boiler in pretty good
shape,cranked out a drawing of what I'd
like to do other than a full inspection,
cleaning and new slab.
Owners got estimate on new ss chiney liner
and took off purchase price and had unit
inspected by "the Sear's guy" (God help me)
and we got a copy of the work order.
Would like to keep unit as long as possible.
Open to comments, criticisms, picking of nits,
etc.
Unit is 79' Dunkirk PSB-8D 161K IBR 671' Capacity.
The rest is on my drawing.
Have no faith in local Rogers Park / Edgewater contractors.
May have to do this myself. ( before ya fly off the handle
and tell me I can't or should'nt do it look at the drawing
and think about it again.) I do better than all the crap
I've seen in my neck of the woods.
If you could see the WM EGH-85 in the basement of the place I'm renting done with double tap copper and single 3" bullhead riser, open hole in flue, you'd faint or die laughing.( and this guy is supposed to be good )
Would only trust a Wally.
The closest Wally AFAIK is BoilerPro, 2 1/2 hrs. away.
