    But Mark,

Everyone says oil doesn't make CO, and a crack in a heat exchanger won't leak CO. NOT!!!!!!

This article is the perfect example of how these two statements are completely false!

    Thanks for posting it.

    You nailed it John!

I have been saying for months now that CHRONIC CO exposure is misdiagnosed 99.9% of the time!

HEATING "professionals" did not find this leak.

I don't have to make this stuff up folks, it happens all to often.

If you install or service combustion appliances and do not test them, you may be leaving your customer in a deadly situation.

Go to school, get trained and get testing.

If you decide not to, you may see one of YOUR customers listed.

If any of you work for a company that will not allow you to test, e-mail me with your company phone# and the name of the person I need to talk to. I'll do the rest.

If you have questions about Chronic CO poisoning, e-mail me any question.

I'll stop posting when accidental CO poisoning is no longer #1.

Test because you care, or test to shut me up. I don't care which option you choose, just get trained and get testing.

    Yah Glenn,

that MYTH is still alive today, while many have died because someone else believed the myth.

Have you ever heard of a family being killed from leaking CO2???? Yet that is the ONLY gas that a shaker kit looks for. How many are still using those and think they are "testing"???

Glenn, you keep doing it right 100% of the time. You and I will change the rest TOGETHER.

I want to thank you for being the BEST you can be!

    Sincerely,

    Mark H

    DAWG!!!!!!!!!!

House looks GREAT! Mom looks BEAUTIFUL as she did when I was there. You give her a hug from me!

I did not post this story to point out the oil/CO connection, if someone got something from it, fine.

I posted it to show that even DOCTORS miss CO poisoning.

A good heating tech SHOULD have spotted this, they didn't.

I wonder if that company has someone here on the wall?

    NO MAS!
