Indirect in Primary Loop

Has anyone piped two boilers to a primary loop that flows directly through an indirect hotwater heater, similar to a Phase III TR-60. Boiler temp is 180 high limit and domestic water is tempered by a mixing valve.Invision the indirect as part of the primary loop. Please comment on the folling setup. Thanks.

I'm guessing there's more
What's the rest of the system load and requirements. I've used similar strategies where a high percentage of the boiler outputs are for high temp process water (milking barns) with slaved radiant and baseboard. In some residence apps we cannot stand the tanks above 150 F unless dedicated to kitchen or laundry. Burns can happen really fast with 180 at the tap - be very careful. Enjoy......Dan

indirect
we have usually piped the indirect directly from the boiler secondary loop. that way the primary pump does not have to run. this helps keep the boiler room cooler in summer months0
