    I thought I'd give you Wallies an update, and why I've been MIA..

    My life is not as simple and unfettered as it was 3-4 years ago when I started to hang out here on "the Wall" :) For starters, I jettisoned my partner, went through 3 apprentices, and right now I am wearing a ton of different hats working solo. It's a lonely place and a frenetic pace! I'm trying to avoid burnout, and to resist being pulled in all directions..daily battle.

    In the last two years, I have been blessed with two healthy sons. This is huge for me, because for the first time in my life I have a genetic relation to a human I know. You see, I am adopted. My parents are wonderful people, but I've always wondered what bonds are created between traditional families. Tough to express this..and I digress:)

    So, between work, and the kids, I try to check out the Wall when I can, just to see what's cooking. I think of you regulars often, and I wish I could have made it to WS3. I remember WS1 and it was just too short!

    I'm in the same boat pretty much, and spend too much time at The Wall anyway. Its a balancing act. Your gonna do fine, Bob, I never believed in partnerships anyway. The rare exception is Mark Hunt and Darin Cook - I would be partners with either one. If you need anything, let me know. Mad Dog
