A while back Mark Eatherton posted a method to calculate the r value of an existing wall.I was wondering Mark if you could post the method and formula again. I downloaded the formula/method but seemed to have lost the file. Did a search on the site but can not find thread.

Thanks Mark and who ever provided you with the formula!
I'm residing our dwelling and had planed on blowing insulation in the walls only to discover that it is already there fiberglass batts with celotex board and 30# felt as the Typar plesent surprise! will use the formula to check the wall.Not bad for circa 1952.0
