    Sad

In a tragic way, CO poisoning may have just climbed to the next level of awareness. One death is one too many. Two is unspeakable. My prayers go out to the family.

Let's see if any stories come out of this.

I hate to say it, but since the story says the fireplace flue damper was closed, I unfortunatly see many people looking at the story and seeing it as a case of an elderly couple forgetting to open the damper and poisoning themselves, and then saying "I would never do that". Hopefully some people will see it as a reminder to double check their fireplace dampers when starting a fire.

    I dunno Steve...

I didn't read his story, but maybe he went on tour because he felt that he owed it to the people who already bought tickets and made plans to see him. I went to work on 9-11 pretty depressed. I felt like radiant heating wasn't very important in the grand scheme of things. Nevertheless, I knew that if the world was still there tomorrow, the job would have to be finished. I could understand if someone wanted to go home and be with their family for a few days or whatever, but people handle grief different ways. Like I said, I didn't read his story, but I'm sure he feels a lot of responsibility to a lot of people involved in his profession- even in the midst of the pain of losing his parents. Contrast that work ethic with the many "artists" who are no-shows at some of their concerts because they can't handle their drug/alcohol habits. Kevin
