Sad
In a tragic way, CO poisoning may have just climbed to the next level of awareness. One death is one too many. Two is unspeakable. My prayers go out to the family.0 -
Let's see if any stories come out of this.
I hate to say it, but since the story says the fireplace flue damper was closed, I unfortunatly see many people looking at the story and seeing it as a case of an elderly couple forgetting to open the damper and poisoning themselves, and then saying "I would never do that". Hopefully some people will see it as a reminder to double check their fireplace dampers when starting a fire.0 -
not funny at all
prayers out to the weird al. Maybe someday when things settle down he could become an anti-co crusader - who knows. mad dog

well i will tell you one thing
god forbid, but if my parents died of CO poisoning,
i wouldn't be going to a concert the next day...?
he is wierd. i mean come on, what happen with that.
he goes on tour after his parents died, what a loser.
i don't feel bad for him, i feel bad for his parents is
more like it...0 -
I dunno Steve...
I didn't read his story, but maybe he went on tour because he felt that he owed it to the people who already bought tickets and made plans to see him. I went to work on 9-11 pretty depressed. I felt like radiant heating wasn't very important in the grand scheme of things. Nevertheless, I knew that if the world was still there tomorrow, the job would have to be finished. I could understand if someone wanted to go home and be with their family for a few days or whatever, but people handle grief different ways. Like I said, I didn't read his story, but I'm sure he feels a lot of responsibility to a lot of people involved in his profession- even in the midst of the pain of losing his parents. Contrast that work ethic with the many "artists" who are no-shows at some of their concerts because they can't handle their drug/alcohol habits. Kevin
