Anual heating cost calculation

Is this the way to calculate the yearly heating cost?
Net load number from Wirsbo design software = N. Difference between indoor and outdoor design temps used for calculation of net load = TD
N/TD = BH (BTU per hour per degree)
BH*24 = BDD (BTU per degree day)
Degree Day = DD
BDD*DD = BY (BTU per Year)
Then just take fuel net efficiency and energy content and calculate cost.
