for a While now i have been looking to find someone here who has used poly therms poly comfort or poly dinamic....so no respondse, new tactic..I'll make something lot like it.maybe out of rhino hide spray on bed liner for pickup trucks, pex ,gypcrete and a seamless floor product similar to Dura base composite floor coverings....I suspect like any sandwich construction in the boating industry the first go round is gona cost to bring the stuff together. here is an address take a look at the products available here in Alaska.ww.composite-tech.com ..... here is where i am thinking the 5/16th"wirsbo and the 1.5mm really old stadler pipe with3/4"gypcrete over pour with some of this seamless comosite should be lighter than 1 1/2" gypcrete and the waffel board to hold the tubing in place and floor toping with 7000psi should make a truly light weight respondsive and durable floor for radiant installations. what do you think?

    did some leg work today....

seems the products are so tough that they will rip the gypcrete apart.:( however they have some thing called ARDEK a self leveling "crete" any one used it?it can be coloured and 1/4" to 1" pours no problem expensive buh no problem. when it dries it looks like that comosite outdoor decking material that comes looking like a 2X6 i think its called TRAX.

    I've

seen the Ardek type flooring, can be colored and texured. But wouldn't it hold the heat in? Seems like it would have a higher R value.Dave
