panel rad engine room (leo g)

just finished this installation. each of the 10 panel rads have their own supply and return, and are balanced with Dahl balancincing valves. they will also be equipped with TRV's and the system will run off of the tekmar outdoor reset. the HO has been the driving force behind this project, and has been one of the best that we have had the pleasure to deal with!

if possible, we try to get the panel installed before the drywall, so that all of the wiring possible, can be "hidden".

enjoy!

    Leo!

That is real pretty.Nice work. One thing.......I always like to isolate the expansion tank also. And as you I always installed a ball valve. It is a handle that someone can possibly close or forget to open after service.Likely,no but possible.I use a check valve now.1/2"M NPT x 1/2"FM NPT.Watts make them ,I dont know the part # off the top of my head.It is discreet in appearance and has a small spring. When replacing the tank the check snaps closed.I buy a dozen @ a time. What type of finish on the panel?Very nice.I love the panels with TRV's...set em and forget em!.

    Very nice, Leo

That wiring method looks great! You are wise to valve the PAB like that, also.
