6 inch fittings

my father has let alotta stuff accumulate in the shop but what really takes up space is the crates and crates of 6 inch threaded cast iron fittings. could someone please tell me how to get rid of these. im not even sure if any trades even use them, all i kno is id sell em to the first buyer

    Save yourself a lot of trouble...............................

    junkyard...penny a pound...unless they happen to be brass. You can try calling a local industrial plumbing or heating supply, but I doubt you'd have any takers. Mad Dog

    might look up private water or sewage treatment plants.

    maybe miners mining outfits might use fittings that size...

    at least scrap iron

    prices are way up lately, and that would be high grade scrap, clean w/ no steel mixed w/ the iron (e.g. think engine short blocks).

    He brings it into the junkie and a few weeks later a commercial steamer comes in , and he sold that $125 6 inch ell for $.015 a pound . Oh wait , that would be my luck .
