Tim,

I have a customer that wants a radiant deck, it is above the first floor and they are concerend about the drains pluging up with ice, as it has a three foot wall around it the water would flow over the threshold and into the house if the drains plugged. Just looking to keep the surface temp above freezing.

The deck is 11'x32' and sits on flat trusses I have about 18" of air space to run tube in, I was planing to use pex clips and hang the tube and heat the air space. R38 below the tube, deck is 1" Plywood with a torch down and tile on top.
The house sits at 2000' and is 60 miles north of seattle Wa.
I am looking for heat requirments and tube spacing and thought you might be able to run calcs.
