Is this a viable venture? Sometimes there are things I would like to discuss with just contractors. Things like overhead, pricing and other things that other people shouldn't have privy to. Maybe password it and show proof you're a contractor. It should be limited to just business questions and such. Good idea? Bad idea? I'm an idiot for even thinking it?

I always get the feeling
when we talk about this (and you know we've all batted this around before over the years) that it would be akin to a party where some people are off in the corner, or in a private room, having a secret conversation where no one else is allowed to listen in. Knowing what I know about human nature, my sense is that this would lead to problems for the place. What you're suggesting, I think, might be best done through a List Server. Why not get together with whomever you have in mind for this and set it up on your own?Retired and loving it.0 -

Sadly, you are correct.
Human nature or a brain to reason with.

I'd be happy to host a mailing list
I run my own mail server and have all the things in place to run a mid volume mailing list. As long as there aren't many pictures, my link can handle it.
If you're interested, drop me a line.
