Boiler protection required?
If the heat output rating of the boiler is four times (min) greater than the design load of a low-temperature (radiant) distribution subsystem, sustained flu gas condensation protection is not required?
If a small radiant slab supplied from a conventional boiler that also supplies the bulk of its heat output to high-temperature baseboard/panel radiation, will the boiler have the capability to overcome the low-temperature return water sent back to it by the small (but often cool) radiant slab?

Thanks Matt
I enjoyed reading about your new found passion for Snow Melting. Dan wrote a great story about your doubts that it just might not have not worked.
I remember seeing your posts here that day when it snowed for the first. time. You looked so happy:) We were all happy for you. Never doubt what can be done with the help of Wallie buddies.
As I recall, you used conventional boilers on that Long Island driveway. True? This probably deserves it's own post though.
