This is one we worked on last week. We had retrofitted some radiant in this house when it was remodeled a last year (see Grooved Concrete post from last year). At the time I recommended replacing the boiler and aging commercial water heater. The HO decided to leave the water heater and convert the existing W-M 78 boiler from oil to gas. We did the conversion and installed a Powerflame JR burner on the 78 per W-M specs.

The HO could not stand the sound of the Powerflame and the performance of the existing water heater so we replaced them last week. Anyome looking for a slightly used Powerflame gas burner?

We installed two Viessmann Vitogas 100's, a Vitocell 100 tank (120 gal.) and a 4-way motorized valve to prevent flue gas condensation. The three radiant zones are controlled through a Danfoss panel.
